STONE GUIDE
Choosing your stone.
Each stone we work with has its own personality — its own colour range, texture, hardness and history. This guide is here to help you find the one that fits your space and how you live in it.
Rajasthani Sandstone
Warm honey and terracotta tones, with a naturally matte surface. Lightweight relative to other stones and highly workable — our most popular choice for carved detailing and outdoor pieces. Moderately porous; seal annually for indoor use.
White Marble
Classic and luminous. Our white marble is sourced from Makrana, the same quarry that supplied stone for the Taj Mahal. Suited to dining surfaces and consoles where a refined, cool tone is desired. Requires sealing and care around acidic liquids.
Black Granite
Dense, virtually non-porous and highly durable. Deep charcoal to near-black, with subtle natural movement. Excellent for high-use surfaces like kitchen islands and outdoor tables.
Travertine
Warm ivory with characteristic vein patterns and natural pits. The pits can be left open for a raw, tactile quality or filled for a smoother surface. Works beautifully in bathrooms and living spaces.
Green Onyx
Translucent and dramatic. Backlit or placed near a window, green onyx glows from within. Best reserved for statement pieces — side tables, consoles, decorative panels — rather than heavy-use surfaces.
